Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes

Did you know that 1 in 5 Knoxvillians have diabetes or pre-diabetes? Or that 1 in 3 adults in American is at risk for developing diabetes? Your East Tennessee office of the American Diabetes Association asks you and your coworkers, family, friends, neighbors and everyone you know to join us in the fight to Stop Diabetes.

Join us for our annual Step  Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes at UT Gardens on Sunday, November 2nd.  Registration is now  open, and there  is no registration fee. Help us reach our goal of  $107,000 as we work to change the future of diabetes in our community!

The Walk itself is 3-miles long, and is stroller, wheelchair and dog-friendly! There will be vendors with information and giveaways, as well as music, refreshments, contests and fun at the festival site! Anyone who raises $100 in donations will receive the 2014 event shirt, so sign up today and start fundraising. Together, we can Stop Diabetes, one step at a time.
