Rural Metro is investigating an early morning fire in West Knoxville that they believe was started due to a lightning strike.

Crews called to the house fire in the 1200 block of Harvey Road just after 3:30 A.M. this (Monday) morning.

They found fire coming from the roof and the people that were home at the time of the fire were safely outside.

No injuries were reported.
