We are absolutely thrilled to witness our vision for this groundbreaking project taking tangible shape. We eagerly anticipate the upcoming phases of this historic endeavor, which is set to influence our campus and the city of Knoxville deeply. The Neyland Entertainment District is poised to become a valuable asset to America’s College Sports City.University of Tennessee Vice Chancellor/Director of Athletics Danny White
The plan includes a nearly 175,000 square foot entertainment district to be managed by the team, which has experience with other similar endeavors with the Texas Rangers, St. Louis Cardinals, Atlanta Braves and more.
Also on the list is an updated G10 parking garage (the entertainment district is slated for the top of G10) and a “condotel,” which is a hotel that’ll include a rooftop restaurant and bar.
The hotel is planned to have around 240 rooms and 60 condos.
Going forward, the plan heads to the State Building Commission for approval.
