FAFSA Completion Events for High School Graduates and Adults at Multiple American Job Centers in East Tennessee

The American Job Centers of East Tennessee are partnering with the UT Educational Opportunity Center in August to hold FAFSA Completion Events.

These FAFSA Completion Events are designed for high school graduates and for adults who want to return to school. Each event is scheduled as a drop-in event and are will be held on Saturdays and during evening hours to better accommodate working adults.

Those in attendance can:

· find financial aid for college by completing their FAFSA

· apply to TCATs, community colleges, or universities

· learn about resources available at the American Job Center.

The UT Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) is providing trained educational specialists who can assist attendees with the online 2024-25 FAFSA form. EOC is also providing free food and backpacks for attendees who complete a FAFSA onsite*.

· Campbell County American Job Center – Thursday, 8/8/24, 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm

· Blount County American Job Cetner – Saturday, 8/10/24, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

· Anderson County American Job Center – Monday, 8/12/24, 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm

American Job Centers are regularly open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 pm.
