Pedestrian Dies after Knoxville Hit-and-Run Crash, Police Say

Knoxville, TN (WOKI) Knoxville Police are investigating a now-fatal hit-and-run crash after a woman who was struck by a vehicle on Walker Boulevard has passed away.

On February 3, Officers were called to Walker Boulevard near Northgate Terrace, where a 75-year-old woman had been struck by a vehicle that left the scene.

She was taken to the hospital with critical injuries where she succumbed to those injuries Saturday.

The suspect vehicle was described as a silver or white SUV with a black top. The vehicle was possibly a Jeep or Hummer.

Anyone with information concerning the driver or vehicle is urged to contact East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers anonymously at 865-215-7165. Tipsters can be eligible to receive a cash reward for information leading to the identification of the person responsible.
