Blount County Sheriff James Lee Berrong is asking for information on the 2018 disappearance and death of a woman in Maryville. 

He’s also offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to Cheyenne Shropshire, who was reported missing by her family on Sept. 8, 2018 and later declared the victim of a homicide. 

Her body was found in March of 2020 in a field on Old Middlesettlements Road. The last someone saw the girl, he added, was in August of 2018 on Alcoa Highway.
